Ben Yelverton

Ben Yelverton is a graduate of Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas. While in law school he represented Baylor at several mock trial competitions, including the National Civil Trial Competition and the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition. In 2012, his AAJ team defeated mock trial teams from every law school in Texas to become the Texas Regional Champions. That same year, Ben defeated approximately 40 other entrants to take second place in the 2012 Baylor Top Gun Competition.

During law school Ben clerked with the Honorable Judge James Stanton and interned for the Honorable Judge Ken Tapscott. Ben also was a Summer Associate for the civil practice firm of Atchley, Russell, Waldrop & Hlavinka, LLP in Texarkana, Texas. He has also gained experience working with law school faculty on special projects like structured jury focus groups.

Prior to law school, Ben received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Dallas where he graduated magna cum laude. While in college he spent a semester working for the House Judiciary Committee at the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.

Ben is an aggressive litigator who enjoys finding creative solutions for his clients to achieve the best possible result for them. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, playing the guitar, and spending time with his friends.
